With conventional resistivity logs it is very difficult to do accurately. There are some new logs out that can actually focus different measurement paths, and from these different paths back out the horizontal and vertical resistivity, from which given a Vsh can better estimate the laminated sand saturations vs the shale saturations - but they are not cheap.
I think the Baker tool is called 3Dex
NMR and FMI would do the same.
Anyway, simple calculation could be done using Indonesian Equation by any software in the market without problem.
