There standards on fluid velocity limits for fluid flowing through piping mainly API 14E.


My question is* are there any similar guidelines for velocity limit within inline instruments like vortex* coriolis flow meters and control valves?

I know few standards which limit the pressure drop across vortex flowmeters and coriolis flowmeters to avoid flashing of liquids* but they do not say anything about velocity.
