Dear friends, we have core samples from our wells, rocks are represented by black marine shales which are proven to be productive in naturally fractured sequences (sweet spots). We need to measure effective porosity, permeability and resistivity of these samples under 100 % water saturation. Unfortunately, average labs having troubles with that kind of rocks, they ask us for longer samples (30 centimeters of length), but all we have are round cuts 5-10 centimeters in diameter and 5-10 centimeters thick.

Is there anyone from lab, which can work with such samples? Maybe someone have similar technology like InGrain – computer tomography with further modeling and reconstruction. If someone has experience in such type of rocks, please write me and we can discuss contract details.
