I am working on a task in which a submerged water tank is emptied through HP Air.
The pressure of water inside tank is at 10 bar (100 meter depth). I have read in a document that the pressure of Air will be dropped to a very little amount of pressure above 10 bar even if the source pressure is 10 times higher e.g 100 bar. What is the phenomenon behind it. the pipe length from source of hp air to tank inlet is 5 meter. Please help me in this regard. how this drop can be calculated.???
