Will the learned forum members explain what is difference between pipe and tube?
When is cylindrical element called a pipe and when is it called a tube?

Pipe is identified by ND(NPS).
Tube is identified by OD.

When we say pipe, it has a standard manufacturer mill length i.e 6 mtrs or 12 mrts.When we say tube, it is a cylindrical hollow without specific length.
