  1. Density_Neutron Crossover (Oil or Gas) ??

    Hi Friends,

How can we say that it is Oil or Gas, keeping in view the Density-Neutron Crossover?
Besides this, what else method can confirm that there is gas or oil except Density-Neutron crossover?

    Look forward to hearing.

    Thanx

i think the resistivity and salinity can give an indiction too

Ideally you have RFT/MDT pressure points, and your gradient should tell you

You can infer from resistivity as ahmedm points out, but unless you have experinece in the area you can still have quite a bit of uncertainty. You can also look for gas shows in the mud-logs. While oil zones would also yield gas shows, typically they are higher for gas zones, but again if this is the first well in the area you simply have to test it - ideally by production/DST, or by MDT/RFT and sampling at least
