    If i am not wrong,

ATEX directives are compulsory in Europion countries , and after modification in rule from 30th june 2003, All equipment to be used in Explosive environment shall be certified for ATEX directives, otherwise it will not be used.

While still other authorities gives certification on type test.

Hence if you ask a normal transmitter with ATEX certification it will cost u higher as that transmitter will be certified for the use in Explosive environment. The same product with other certificate will cost u less without any difference in instruments.

But ATEX is mandatory in Europe.

Thanks , but do you know what is the defferice tech.

Many thanks for your reply, do you know what is the technical differnce in specification
" to issue any certificates CSA or ATEX what they check to give their certificats??"
also suppose we have CSA product and want it to be ATEX in addition ,this products should pass tests,...
Is ATEX specification is more restricted than CSA " All ATEX can take CSA but not vice versa?!"
