Thread: Two phase flow Correlations(please very important)

  1. Thumbs up Two phase flow Correlations(please very important)

dear all , in pipesim 2008 what the differance between the following Two phase flow Correlations?

    1-SRTCA three-phase (standard)
    2-SRTCA two-phase
    3-SRTCA two-phase slugging & slug DP
    4-SRTCA three-phase

and also between the following tow phase correlations

1-Segregated Flow - GRE Mechanistic Model BP (linktype 6)
2-Segregated Flow - GRE Mechanistic Model BP (linktype 6)

if any files or refrance i will be Thankful

dear the following informant can help until any one can give details information
    1- Shell SRTCA
Various versions of correlations developed by and for use by Shell.

2- Segregated Flow GRE (BP Mechanistic model)

A Mechanistic model from BP. Used for the prediction of pressure drop and total liquid hold-up for systems that have reached equilibrium and are operating under steady state conditions. This model is included within the BPX MULTIFLO program as “Segregated Flow – GRE mechanistic model”. The calculation procedure for pressure drop and liquid hold-up is dependent on this predicted flow regime.

Try to read Crane Technical Paper Tp # 410. You can find it shared in this forum; do ome little goggling. Remember the golden rule "easy come easy go". I am sure these terms might have been defined in the software user's guide or help.
