In this equation :
N = A*h*NTG*por*(1-Swi)/Bo
h : is the thickness of the pay zone ??
and what if I dont have the NTG ?
and this calculates the A for each reservoir right ? so if the well is drilled through 3 reservoirs .. am supposed to calculate each one independently ??
h is gross thickness multiply by NTG to get the netgross thickness
A drainage area of the well, for instance, since we bet the N for the well only
i belive you was asking about the well not the reservoir!
it is an assumption to solve for drainage area so from the volume we get the area V = A*h
for porous materials, V = A*h*por*So as pore volume
i hope it is clear, i belive if you read some spe papers it can help
i have some that would really better explain
i will uplaod them to 4 shared, i will share the link
if you dont mind remind me by a post to my forum mail
good luck
as promised, please check those papers
