Dear ALL,

There are bearing frequencies which are depending upon revolutions of bearings . Means when rpm increases , frequencies are also increases .
Frequencies means bearing vibraion frequencies. There are equations to find out various frequencies of a bearing and to find out you need to have all internal dimensions like ball dia/ roller dia , pitch dia etc..
I found out chart show the relation between magnitude of vibration and factor k= ((n/1000)^2)*d:
where:
n = speed in rpm
d = bearing bore diameter in mm.
but I do not know how we can draw two boundary lines which divive 3 regions.

Dear sir,
Maximum allowable vibration according to API for horizontal pumps is 3.0 mm / sec RMS ( for pumps having max. rpm = 3600 and max. power absorbed = 300KW), while for vertically suspended pumps this limit is 5.0 mm / sec RMS. Plesae note that 30% increase in these vibration limits are allowable for pumps running at flows outside the preffered operating region but within the allowable opearting region.
dear Hienve,
Pumps vibrations are measured on bearings for any type of pump.The details about limit,where to measure in axial,radial direction,where to keep probe ,etc
are given in ANSI/HI 9.6.4 2008 which is published by Hydraulic Institute of America.
