Angry GOR increase means gas is being produced?

    Hi,

    I have a question here.

If the GOR is increase, is that means there is gas being produced from the reservoir? Currently, I am trying to solve some sort of questions to determine the total compressibility. I couldn't find any gas saturation and compressibility value in the report.
I believe some gas is begin produced from the well, hence I need to consider gas compressibility effect towards my calculation. Is that correct?

    * gas saturation and compressibility are not stated

    Hello Yusri Ibrahim,
if your reservoir above bubble point, then you don't need to put into account the gas phase. Below bubble point you should use correlations to match the fluids pvt data and take in account the rel.perms...

Re: GOR increase means gas is being produced?

    Hi Regi Max,

Thank you for your replied. Apparently, my reservoir pressure is above bubble point pressure hence gas effect can be eliminated.

    Thanks again for your help

Even the FBHP is above the bubble point?
