I wanna know if exist a standard regarding to bends (maximum) on choke manifold design. Also, the API recommend the use of "cushion plugs" in each bend of the choke line (inlet, through the choke and outlet line)

do you have an example of your design? Most of the manifolds I have designed use 90 deg or 45 deg bends. The cushion flange or target flange would be place directly inline with the flow.

Yes, indeed...i agree with your statment...but im trying to get some standard from API or ASME (or any agency) who dictates is mandatory to place a cushion flange directly inline with the flow.....or is just a recommendation as per each oil company...
