    is the productivity index (J) of the reservoir change with the effect of beaning up or down?

    Karim Ramadan,

    Ideally, the Productivity Index (J), should be a constant at a given point in reservoir life. Under such conditions, it would be independent of the drawdown you exert on the well (by beaning up or down).

    Also, I think if you want to know what effect choke-changing would have on your well's production rate (as distinct from productivity index), you should conduct a multi-bean test to determine the inflow performance relationship.
