What does a well services engineer do

Hi, This is my first post in this forum and I want to find out what the job role of a well services engineer entails. Thanks. Charlie

Usually in a company there are the completion engineers who cover the well intervention and servicing.
Once the objectives are given (usually by production and/or reservoir eng) they implement it in the practice. This include:
- make familiar with rules and regulations, safety issues etc.
- define course of action
- choosing and coordinating the necessary services.
- implement the plan
- cost analysis
