Our Wayne Ovations spec the 400 series Cim-Tek and comparable Petro Clear filters. Cim-Tek also makes XL filters that have a longer housing and it looks like we have plenty of room to clear the larger size.

When I talked with Wayne* they have no specific recommendations on these longer filters saying they won't work* and added that since we have a pressure system* any changes in load would be with the STP vs the dispenser* so they don't see why it would be an issue with the dispenser.

I called Veeder-Root to ask about the Red Jackets we have and they wanted to know the specific pump we had which I didn't have at the time. But they said that generally the pumps will provide 35psi of pressure when pumping and 20psi when not-pumping and as long as the filter can handle that* doesn't see any problems.

It seems like these longer filters shouldn't be an issue and would be a great way to extend the interval between filter changes (although the screens would still need to be inspected).

Anyone have any real-world experience with these XL filters on Ovations? Thank you in advance for any info.
