Hello everyone!!!

I´m having an issue here with one of my clients; we are drilling horizontal wells and we have problems at triping out of the hole; we have some fallen cuttings (I think might be due low mud weight) but they said that as we are drilling with oil base mud our filtrate is diesel, and as we have organic matter into formation they mix and "disolve" the filter cake; avoiding it to "hold" the well´s walls.

Is there any chance this could be hapening?

We are drilling mostly Mudstone and Wakestone but some black shale with organic matter.

They have asked us to lower HPHT filtrate to less than 2 ml/30 min. to avoid filtrate to mix with formation and disolve cake.

Apreciate your sugestions.

Thanks
