i am studying reservoir engineering as one of my courses in petroleum engineering major in kuwait university

and i need help !
we have a presentation and i must make an extraordinary one based on an extraordinary topic related to reservoir engineering

so if any body can help me in this feild !

Or perhaps presenting an algorithm that provides a unique solution to history matching based upon little or no data?

Seriously though, if you want help then I suggest that provide more guidance on what it is you seek - let us know that you have actually put some thought/work into the task rather than simply hoping some kind soul on the forum will do your thinking....

i did not mean that i want somebody to do my thinking
i just want the idea an extra ordenary idea
like in the field of EOR ,

So what sort of presentation are you expected to give? Simply a relatively new/novel approach used in the industry that you will be summarizing for your classmates? Something completely new which you will be developing/fleshing out?

Are you talking about in depth workshop presentation, or superficial 15-minute type deal?

Again, suggest you put more effort in to your question if you want a similar effort from the Forum. Please don't take this as a rebuke - its advice that will serve you well in your professional career as well... people like to help people who obviously are trying hard to help themselves and can demonstrate that they have put some thought into it, similarly they quickly learn to ignore those who put little more than superficial effort into understanding something before they look for help.

i will be working on a project and then it will be summerized in a short presentation including the important points of my work ..

i need help because i don't know where & what to search ,, i need specified refrences to make my research , like books or useful papers
like if i choose any topic such asEOR) what to search ? what to choose as a subtitle ?

SPE Papers are always a good start in terms of references - they also make references to many other good books/papers on the topic discussed. Many universities have an agreement with the SPE to provide their papers free.... even if not, you can still use the SPE site (

If you want something related to EOR - just do a keyword search for (in your case) 'EOR' or simply 'Enhanced', and see which sorts of topics are coming up frequently and recently

If you want a topic which you might have a chance of actually doing something semi-meaningful with (not just summarizing industry research) then you may elect to choose one that you can investigate further with reservoir simulation - but make sure to be realistic with yourself about (a) your (lack of) simulation skills and (b) the data you will have available
