Schedule for flange

If i want to order a welding neck flange I need schedule or not and what is meaning of schedule at flange because we have class & material

Hi

For a welding neck flange you have to specify these parameters :

1- Nominal size of flange (inch) like nominal pipe size (NPS)
2-Material of flange , A105 for forged and A216 for casting
3-Rating of flange based on pressure & Temp (ASME B16.5 & ASME B16.47)
4-Facing of flange (FF.RF.RTJ)
5-Schedule of neck that will joint to pipe (ASME B36.10 & ASME B36.19)
