ASME III NB vessel design

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience of using ASME III nuclear design code for designing pressure vessels for the nuclear industry?

I'm looking for copies of examples of calculations done on nuclear vessels.
The code is very complicated. A real example of calculations done on a vessel would greatly help me in understanding how you actually apply the code in practise.

Any help much appreciated.

I have 20 years experience in design, calculation, fabrication and testing of nuclear components. I have done also a training at a german factory for fabrication and testing of heavy nuclear components.
Just going through a sample calculation is not enough to learn and understand the code criteria for that kind of equipment.
Your design, procurement, fabrication and testing process must demonstrate they have enough skills to fulfill the code requirements.
If you are going to have some responsabilities regarding design and calculation of nuclear components, you should look for qualified people.
