Aspen V7 license probelm

Hi Guys,

I cannot use Hysys after installing Aspen V7, it shows 'unable to find process license' and 'could not get the applicaiton license'.

I do try licgen for aspen 2006.5, however, commuter license remaining is shown as 0.

please help! urgent basis...

Hi;

You have to use the license generator for Aspen 2006.5, but it will take some minutes, you have to be patient. After that follow the c***k installation notes.
If you have more problems, please write here a new post.

what windows version are you using?

if you installing hysys on windows vista, it is a common issue for not finding the license. see other thread on installing hysys on windows vista.

i am not able to get the 700 license file thing for my laptop,, despite installation successful for the another similar 3 laptops.. any one can teach me how to delete the registries? I would like to make a fresh start/

Finally, i had solved my problem. I still dunnoe what was the cause, but i can share with you all what had i tried.

1) Reformat my laptop.
2) Update my vista to service pack 2.
3) Continue to update other components + restart windows + update till the windows is up-to-date.
4) Then i was able to get the 700 license file.
5) As a thumb of rule, u shld be able to get the 700 license file pop up in around 15-20 seconds after u input the file as a standalone license file. Otherwise, something might be wrong.
6) Good luck.

2) ya puedes cargar despes as`pen v7.1,no desinstales el 2006.5
