Well changed to control by BHP

Hi guys
I am working on an eclipse model with few years of history. During the run I get a message ' well has changed to control by bottom hole pressure'. How can I solve this problem?
The K and NTG is almost in the range of field values but I reduced KRWMAX around these wells to control water production. Is it possible the low value of KRWMAX makes this problem.

In history matching, the model will be control by history data, it will automatically change from Oil rate control to BHP control when oil rate is not enough as history.

see WCONHIST keyword where it is recommended for multi-segment wells to set parameters within ranges of your PVT tables with WELTARG keyword.

however if simulator thinks that BHP pressure must be lower, then you might think about changing skin, applying permeability multipliers etc to understand what your model should be like to match 'real' data.

be aware how eclipse calculates BHP and whether you are comparing pressures at the same datum, stable pressure etc
