exactely because the TBP curve changes when the number of trayes changes (design of the column) also the reflux flow rate changes only the boiling point the of the top production I mean when you lokk deeply to the TBP curve you find some changes in the light productes boiling points, in case of adding trayes that means you've added indirectely new TBP I mean other products, other separators with deffirent TBP, I hope you understand me good luck
