Thread: Electrical feedback

  1. Electrical feedback

    Dear All,

Someone pls explain how feedback occurs in power circuits, not in sound or electronics.

For eg, you have a light circuit serving a few rooms. feed picked from one switch to the other. In a room, switch turned off, but testing at the lamp holder the tester light is dimly on. how and why?

    Would also appreciate other examples

    Thanks

    Re: Electrical feedback

If you have two circuits side by side (in trunking/conduit) and one circuit is powered on and other circuit is powered off. The circuit that is powered off will pick up a small voltage due to the capacitance between it and the circuit that is powered on.

So even though circuit is powered off it will still see a voltage.
