Drum sight glass leak frequently

Our sight glass installed at HRSG drum often leak after in service for few weeks.
The drum pressure is about 120 barg.

Variety of corrective action has been implemented but this kind of problem remains happen.

Should anyone has recommendation for fixing, is highly appreciated.

Can you please tell me the make , type etc of the Level Gauge. We had the same problem. Then we had to chabge the LG.

Where specifically is the leak coming from, and what corrective action have you taken? Is it a steam leak or a condensate leak?

Our sight glass is Yarway model 4595F.

There is steak leak from mating surface (gasket) of glass and casing.
What we have done, for instance, is - replace the gasket + warming up line according to OEM procedure. Then it can be used for service for one week maximum. Eventually leak again.

did you checked the material (Gasket and body) is suitable for process liquid and gas?

In principal Mica is used to prevent etching and the weakening of the glass in level gauge for boiler drum application. Mica play a imp role in leakage of level gauge, so mica quality ,thickness and life span matters lots. So regular visual examination to be carried out to determine mica degradation. Based on that replacement to be carried out with vendor consultation. Life span for mica is around 6-8 month varies with pressure rating, thickness, manufactures...etc
