The only tutorials that site appears to have is the ones that are included in the official documentation you get with the software anyway?

I have find those videos really useful. As every step is shown and really detailed, you can't miss something as is the case with the documentation where you have to figure out sometimes what happens between two steps...(It seems that there is additional topics covered in the website that are not in the manual!)

Why not make a separate email dedicated for these things? Preferable not with personal information.

In this case they are asking for a company or an institution e-mail, nothing ending with gmail.com, aol.com, yahoo.com, etc,
For instance a valid mail for them could be, for instance: jay_wilford@komatsu.com

Not true, I have done it with normal email, just say you're university student or research.
However there are premium member only content, which you can't get from free account.
