Compositional and Thermal reservoir simulations

Hello everybody,

I wonder if there is any resources for applied compositional and thermal reservoir simulations.

I searched in many places but I couldn't find one.

I know how black oil simulation works, but now i want to learn how compositional and thermal simulators work.

in black oil it solves for oil pressure and gas and water saturations for each block, but in compositional I wonder how it works?

An engineer told that it solves for each component as an individual phase and then applu EOS on the block "that's what i have understood from him".

I really appreciate if someone just provide a resource about how these types of simulators work in details.
