Hello to everyone!!

If in a plant I have a vessel at high pressure (ex. 120 barg) and I want to depressurize it, a ball valve opens and the flow goes through a calibrated orifice to avoid excessive flowrate to the flare; if the flare or the blow down section is at for example at 5 barg, is there the risk to have shock wave in the header during the discharging? If yes, how to prevent it?
