Everyone,

We are currently looking at flashing saturated hot water (120 psig, 350 degF) for additional heat recovery in our geothermal plant. I'm simulating the process and using Pipephase for that. My current problem is how to simulate the flash process itself. I tried using a choke, but it seems to be limiting the output because no matter what downstream pressure I set, the flashed amount of steam is the same.

I was wondering if anyone here has had previous success in modeling flash processes in Pipephase and can advise me on how to go about it.
