    I am trying to learn about joule thompson effect more. I don't have a book that shows me the theory for it in details. Is there anyone who can share a pdf about Joule Thompson?

    Dear you may find it in any thermodynamics book. The idea is very simple its the cooling of gas when its being throttled, that means passed through a certain sudden drop in pressure resulting in loss of energy that ultimately results in cooling down of gas.

    The result is cooling down of the gas. That's the idea. But I need to calculate the exact joule thompson coefficient to calculate the temperature reduction of natural gas during pressure regulation process. Can you help me with that? I'd really appreciate it.
