Test separator

Hi all,



Which type of three of three phase test separator are more robust/accurate when liquid carry over in the gas line or gas carry under in the liquid line occur ?



Is it recommend to use test separator using coriolis meters or turbine meters ?



And who to avoid or minimize this problem (liquid carry over,gas carry under) ?

Dear Triviaux, all depends on which kind of fluid would you like to measure, crude oil + water + diluent+ chemical + gas + among other rates of fluid. Also, you need to be clear about operational envelopes of all market equipments avalilable. Try with multiphase meters.

Thanks for your reply , regarding the type of fluid to measure its a multiphase flow (oil/gas/water flow) in my project the test separator will be our reference to evaluate the performance of severals type of multiphase flow meters this is the reason the accuracy must be irreproachable
