Pressure vessels and heat exchangers calculation software

Hi friends

I have some doubts about software for calculation of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
I have been using ASPEN EDR for everithing, but i have discovered that there are other softwares that could be much better than this one.

For this, i would like to know your opinion of the most common software as PV Elite, HTRI, UNISIM, Compress... and other software that you can recomend to me.

In addition, if someone have time, it would be great if you can tell me directly what is the functionality of each software, that means tell me what i can do with each one.

For example, I know that with ASPEN EDR you have a wide functionality for the design of shell and tube heat exchangers, from thermal design till mechanical. But for other kind of exhangers like air colled you can only calculate the thermal considerations and it is no so complet as ir is for Shell and Tube exchangers.

I would like to have on my computer the ideal software for each case, and i only know one software.

In addition, i would like to know which one is most employed or has higher recognition.

I believe PV elite and Compress are for the mechanical parts/ design only..the others meantionned are for process and/or thermal rating

I believe that Pro II can help you for air cooler and others heat exchangers.

I looked into this for a pig trap design. Best available pressure vessel software I could find was FINGLOW
