Hello Friends,

From the look of it, i think these standards are not as stringent as some of the international regulations e.g HSE (UK), Norsok, PSA (Norway).

In general, what does the local companies follows while undertaking any design work? do they tend to follow these international standards? or they just stuck their heads in the sand and design simply based on engineering standards and not for safety standards?

I will really appreciate if you can share some of your experience as this will help me and others to understand how a company works in India. I also believe that due to available resources unexplored, there will be lot of offshore activities in near future.
