Injection Water Regulations

This is my first thread in this forum, and I've found it really helpful (congratz to the creators).

I've looking information about injected water, but what I'm not so sure, is there any standard or regulation that says how the injected water should go (in terms of TDS, chlorides, etc...) or the quality of this water should be different on a case by case basis depending on the compatibility with the connate water. the injection water that i'm asking about is the same produced water after some treatments in surface facilities. but how different is this water when it's produced from the one injected.

nnredy, Thanks for the link, I've read the information that DOE presents in this web, but I'm looking for something from Barben-Symank or Hensell -Sullivan Stalling or someone else that wrote or present an standard for quality injection water. For example I know that the max. concentration of oxygen in this water is 50 ppb, and the corrosion must have 1 MPY as a maximum accepted value for injection. I really hope someone can help me, thanks.
