    Water scaling tendencies

    I am looking at some water injector wells which need some stimulations and here is the question that I have for you guys: Is any way (method, program spreadsheet) to predict the water scale tendencies based on water analysis?
    Thanks

    Re: Water scaling tendencies

    There are many methods for scaling tendency calculation and analysis:

    Prominent among them are :
    1. Langlier Saturation index
    2. Stiff and davis method
    3. Skillman Mcdonald stiff method
    4. Stiff page method
    5. Odo thompson method

    google these topics to learn more about the calculation, theory and analysis;

    Yeah there are some method to calculate Scale index, I usually use Stiff and Davis method. I am interested to simulate scale using PVTsim, anyone can share to do that?
