230 kV Switchyard design, protection system, calculations etc.

Hi guys,

I have an LNG project and we're tasked to design the 230 kv switchyard. Do you have any suggestions on where should we start, its calculations, protection systems etc. If you have any notes, please give me. I need your help. Thanks..

I guess the design deliverables will be as follows
1) Earthing measurements and earthing design as per IEEE 80
2) Switchyard layout design (Plan view and sectional view)
3) Lightning protection design
4) Civil input design (i.e, foundation details)
5) Trench layout
6) Busbar force calculations
7) Ancillary room layout
8) Battery charger calculations
9) Lighting calculations/design for switchyard
10) Protection panels for the 230kV (protection requirements to relevant codes)
etc etc
This list is not exhaustive

you need also to generate and produce Design Criteria, BOD, Specifications and Data Sheet.
