    Dear all,

    Could anyone tell me what is (Pu) unit in neutron log and how I can convert it to the unit which IP software can accept.

    I have las file for a well I try to use IP but the problem is IP can not accept pu unit of neutron log.

    Pu means POROSITY UNIT, it ranges from 0 to 100 so you have to convert it to decimal unit if you want to make calculation in IP. Just go to Tab "Calculation"--->User formula ---->type the formula: NPHI/100 (if Neutron curve is NPHI) and type the new curve name in the result box. Or you can open las file by EXCEL, devide neutron curve by 100 and save as new file (.prn for example), then load into IP. Get fun!!!
