Purge Gas

Hi Everybody,

Can anybody explain me the purpose of using 'fuel gas' as a purge gas in flare header?

Instead of nitrogen or inert gas , you can use fuel gas as purge gas to prevent or stopped the inlet of O2 from the heat of the flare
