Dear Mujji,
The relevant standard is NFPA 12 Standard on Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing Systems, that is a comprehensive guide. If you have it fine, otherwise I have the 2008 Edition, let me know I will upload it on 4shared.
However, you may be aware that the instead of CO2, other clean agents (e.g Inergen, etc ) are used for such applications, I suggest you to cary out a comparitive analysis of the various clean agents.
Standards for other gases are also different than NFPA 12.

For server room use "FM 200 ,, HFC-227ea" or "Novec"
Use
NFPA 2001: Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems
or my favoure
8.5 % by volume , by ISO 14520-9 / EN 15004-5
or even VdS 2380en
Fire Extinguishing Systems using non-liquefied Inert Gases, Planning and Installation

Check the volume of area...and calculate the minimum requirement of CO2....and another questions is...how many minutes did you need to extinguish the fire?
please upload
please find reference standards:
