Mineral effect on logs

Hello guys

Can someone let me know how logging curves (GR, Res, density-neutron etc.) are effected by different type of minerals (gluconite, mica, volcanic tuff etc.)?

Simply, what is the effect of mineralogy on log respnse? A reading material posted here will be a great help.

The efect of the different type of minerals on log response depends of the tipe of log, for example the GR, as it detect the natural radiacion of the formations, the mica (glauconite) and the volcanic rocks contaminate the lecture of the tool and produce high responses and this indicates that in it zone have shale and isn´t true because can exist some sands that contain these minerals.
In the Resistivity log don´t have any problem, because is measured the facility of circulation of electricity that traverses the rock if in that there are some minerals the signal is reduce.
in the neutron log the signal of the tool is afected for the index hidrogen only, and this minerals don´t have hidrogen therefore the content of these don´t affect the log.
The density log is affected the same manner as the GR, because these detect de gamma ray weakened... and some minerals emityn that ray..
