Mohammed,
My 2001 copy of A333 says that there is no Nickel in Grade 6 material. A small residual amount may be present even though it was not intentionally added or specified. If your question is how much would be allowed before the material would be considered to be non-compliant I don't have a clear answer. ASTM A530 and A751 don't discuss limits on non specified materials in pipe. ASTM A20 which is directed at plates for pressure vessels says that unspecified/non-restricted Nickel should be limited to 0.43% in the heat/0.40% in the product. In the services I normally encounter the residual Nickel would not normally present a problem. I guess you will have to rely on your judgement in this matter.
Regards, Gunnar
According to ASME II-A (2010) , NO NICKEL IS REQUIRED, SO ANY NI %, WILL BE ACCEPTED
No nickel in A333 Gr6 it is classified as P1 Gr1 (so no Ni)
