DST flow rate

I have a question about DST;

In case if the fluid did not reach the surface, how can I calculate the flow rate?
I saw in one of the forums it is possible to obtain the instantaneous rate flow pressure gain in fluid recorder, but could anybody explain me how to do that?

When fluid level did not reach the surface, you can calculate flow rate like in slug test. See attached file.
