Hey guys, my name is Russell and i am down here in Houston Texas. I am a freshman in highschool and am starting to think about my future. I hope that you will spare some of your time to help me out. The petroleum engineering has really caught my eye. I am from a very successul family and want to do the same. I have a few questions i would like to ask and i hope you will answer. I want to go to Texas A&M and get a degree in petrol engineering. (sound good?)
Questions:
1. What do youthink the market will be like when i graduate? Will renewable energy kill the industry?
2. Does my school and degree sound good?
3. Can you give me a basic job description of some of the different petrol engineering areas?
4. What type of internships/jobs should i apply for to get ahead? Which companies hire petrol engineers?A
and finally, where would i have to travel to be successful or could i do it while living in Houston?
