Economic Evaluation (Well Stimulation)

Hello!

I would like you could share some information about how to do an economic evaluation of well stimulation after the treatment (which parameters to consider, how we know it was a succesful treatment, etc).

Please, I need this information urgently! Thank you.

You need to do some incremental production economics.
There are two ways
first method
Just use the additional production after the stimulation and associated cost for the operation. You can get NPV for that.
Second method
You can run economics for the base case and new case seperately so the difference will show you the NPV value of stimulation.

For the technical evaluation of the stimulation results, I would refer analogue fields.
and also If you want, you can run some reverse engineering economics to see at which incremental production level you would recover the associated operation costs so that you would have an idea about the commercially succesful job.

Sorry I am afraid I haven't got any particular example.
but you can tell us what do you want to do exactly and what do you have already.

Thank you I'm doing a thesis about matrix stimulation, I have to show a broad view about economic evaluation: which are the steps to do it and the parameters to consider. The problem is that i don't have any specific data about a treatment and I didn't found it in literature.

So any information about it you could share would be very helpful please.

Go to SPE and download spe paper on stimulation written by Nicholas et al , Afolabi et al. These paper detail the technical and economics aspect of stimulation
