I am a student of MS Petroleum and Gas Engineering. I am starting to work on my thesis. Which topics are suitable related to current scenario of oil industry of Pakistan. Plz help me to select a topic related to reservoir engineering. I am waiting for your response.

Thanks ahmedm for ur reply. Actually i hv to select an advisor also. In our faculty, we hv senior teachers specialized in EOR, Simulation, Production Optimization. Now i think you would be able to suggest me

I would go for either
1) rock mechanics of fractured carbonates in Pakistan, especially investigation of rock compressibilty factors.
2)aquifer mechanisms in Pakistan, impact of heavy tectonic activity on aquifer regimes
3)behavior of volatile oil at HPHT
These three subjects are very interesting.
