The Company I work for actually operates a gas LTS plant (propane refrigeration). Monethylene glycol is injected on the inlet gas/gas exchangers (parallel configuration) and on the chiller thorugh spray nozzles in both places.
We actually have a duplex plunger pump and we are evaluating to replace it for a positive displacement (Rotortech) one.
For what i know this pumps are ususally used in TEG dehydration plants.
I have 2 questions:
1) Are positive displacement pumps suitable for glycol injection through spray nozzles??
2) Regarding to the fact that TEG concentration is ususally between 99 - 99.99%, Could these type of pumps handle ethylene glycol 80% (wieght) solution??

Thanks in advance
