    Question Welding sequence

    can anyone provide us the welding sequence of bottom plates of the storage tank? Is there any reference or code regarding this issue? Thanks in advance.

    start form center to outer. widths first. that is for cone up bottom plates. downwards to center.

    thanks for answer. but in a row all vertical joints should be welded sequentially? in our refinery we had seen that the vertical joints are welded 1,3,5...........manner. T-joints are welded later keeping almost 6 inches un-welded. Horizontal joints also done like vertical sequential manner. I want some reference in this regard. We weld from side not from center. Please make it clear.

    thanks for reply. but i want the following answers:
    1. which lap joint should be done 1st: horizontal or vertical?
    2. When T-joint should be welded?
    3. Procedure of welding T-joint?
    4. Welding should be started from center row or not?
    5. welding should be done from center towards periphery or periphery to center?
    6. maximum how many welders can perform welding simultaneously?
    7. Which NDT is better for performing welding integrity.

    our tank is of dia 69 m and we r using 10 mm bottom plate.
