Thread: whether the jockey pumps required to be fed from an emergency panel?

    whether the jockey pumps required to be fed from an emergency panel?

    whether the jockey pumps required to be fed from an emergency panel?I remebered some standards or handbooks say it is not required,both of the jockey pumps can be driven by electrical power.but I can not find where the requirement comes from?can anybody show me the standard?NFPA 20 or not?

  3. it's not absolute,always there's no specific requirements of such issure,but it's better for jockey pump to connected to emergency power and main Power ,in offshore facility,the bus for emergency power and main power is always connected together,so it's good.
