Hi

How to make field devices location drawing?

Could you please send to me any documentation regarding making field devices location dwg ?

Dear Alex,
Is your query related to a) Drafting of Field Instruments Drawings or b) Comprehensive Engineering of Field Instrmentation.
In case of "a" you can use Autocad with Addon for Instrumentation or Interplant Smart Plant Instrumentation etc.
However in case your problem pertains to b, then the approach is quite complex and requires competency of many areas of Instrumentation Design ans Engineering. You should atleast have the following in your hands to start the work i) Site Plot Plan. ii) Piping Plan, iii) Process Equipment Layout, iv) Main cables routes civil structures, v) Instrument Air Supply Layout, vi) Control Room/Equipment Layouts, vii) Instrument Design Specifications, viii) P&IDs, ix) Piping Isometrics, x) Instrment Schedules etc. All these drawings and specifications will determine the suitable locations/elevations of Instruments.
