This looks as the state of the art

I am not aware about this module

Could you please tell more ?

Does it also tret stress classification directly and automatically ?

Is it something like FEpipe ?

    Thanks for all clarifications

as i works for finite element of pressure vessels by its facilities you can model a pressure vessel very quickly rather than normal modeling more info is here:

Try to get hold of ANSYS Ver.11. As far as I know, this was the latest version in which they had included that module.

Sometime ago ANSYS gave a presentation in our company and the representative said that the module is not included in version 12 and there is no plan to include that module in the future versions!! Sounds wierd, as it looked like a nice feature.

Anyway, if you perform linear elastic analysis, the stress linearization capability is still there. Quite handy!

Also modeling a vessel part is a piece of cake nowadays, given the fact that CAD softwares like SolidWorks and Inventor are around.

    Cheers,

I also try to find ANSYS pressure equipment module but there is no download version

For now I use ANSYS 12.1 + stress linearization capability
