I often observe that when safety valves leak online prematurely, companies have a tendency to tighten the pressure adjustment nut online till it stops passing. I have always objected to this practice as the pressure adjustment nut must be adjusted only at the test bench. Could anyone send me details of a document/standard which prohibits such practices?
